Euro velo 3 cycling route
The EV3 (known as the Pilgrims Route or La Scandibérique) is the latest edition to the European cycling route, representing the longest cycle route in France. We are ideally situated just 500m off the route for overnight stays.
Walking & Hiking
There is an abundance of walking & hiking routes with varying difficulty in the surrounding area.
The Chemin de Compostelle, is part of the world famous St Jaques de Compostelle pilgrimage route. This is a must for anyone who loves walking. We are situated actually on the route.
Vienne is steeped in history and we are within an hour drive to many sites.
Chateaux, Roman Ruins and Grotto are yours to explore.
The Valley of the Monkeys
A unique experience to spend the day among 450 monkeys and apes from 34 species, and not a cage in sight. The park works for the protection of monkeys and their natural environment. Only 30 minutes away.
Based on the river Vienne just 2km away is the woodland adventure park, which includes, zip wires over the river, tree top assault courses, and for the brave among you the Bungee Jump from the viaduct is a must!!
Based in Moussac just 10 minutes away. Kayaking and canoeing for all ages on the river Vienne.
Fishing is available on our local lake , only 400m away or on the river Vienne just 2km away.
